SHA Reunion 2008 August 1-3, 2008
Dear SHA Student/Alumni/Friend:
The SHA Reunion Committee is now in the final stages of planning for the upcoming reunion of all classes and attendees of Sacred Heart, scheduled for August 1-3, 2008.
We are planning for a two-and-half day affair as follows:
Friday, August 1 – A wine and cheese social will be held commencing at
6:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Parish Hall next to the Church. It will be a joyous time to renew old
friendships, to sign the registrar, to reminisce and review memorabilia on
hand, and to plan Saturday activities with respective classes or groups. Please use the back entrance of the Parish
Hall that is conveniently accessible from the Church parking lot; the front
entrance will be closed.
Saturday, August 2 – This day will be held open for individual classes
and groups to do “their thing” and spend time together. In the evening, commencing at 7:00 p.m. a
dinner will be held. We have reserved
the Country Club to host this event.
Sunday, August 3 – St. Mary’s Parish
will have a Mass in honor of SHA at 10:00 a.m. A
luncheon will follow immediately after Mass.
The weekend cost is $50 per person. For those who cannot be with us for the
whole weekend, the Friday ONLY cost is $20, the Saturday ONLY cost is $35, and
the Sunday ONLY cost is $5. IMPORTANT:
The SHA Reunion Committee needs to have this amount, or a deposit, sent
in by July 15 so that a head count can be made. We have to determine how much food, drinks, etc. will be needed
so PLEASE help us by sending in your payment early.
The SHA Committee has accumulated and has access to a very nice collection of pictures, diplomas and other artifacts from Sacred Heart... but we still need more! We would be more than happy to use any materials that you would like to put on display. All pictures will be encased in a plastic sleeve for their protection while on display. All pictures and memorabilia will be returned to their owner on Sunday morning immediately after the luncheon or sooner if the person must leave early.

If reservations cannot be made at these motels, then our next suggestion would be the hotels/motels at the Tunica casinos, which is approximately 45 minutes away.
